For the poster that asked why these files are not in a 'standard' WMV or MOV (quicktime) format, it's because those two formats that are "native" to the players have horrible compression. XviD is great compression and encoding and allows the files to be much smaller without sacrificing a tremendous amount of quality.

Downloading and installing the codecs linked earlier is a simple task that requires little effort for a lot of benefits.

What skills/attribs are you using as a Wa/Mo to farm?

It doesn't stack anymore, but it blasts those Scarabs just fine! I've done it too.

It could be (/most likely) that AN notes which area has most players that restart after selling items in town (going back & forth on to the same map & some outpost).
But the clips do probably hype a certain "farm-map" & "farm-build" (w/m & balthazar's spirit has been mentioned). Much easier to adopt someone elses tactics than trying ones own.

I guess we could argue the "Teach a man to fish" theory here.

We could also argue the 'Our seas are over-fished and AN will make them barren' theory here too

Farming frisbees works too , but mostly I think there's still a few spots left that they haven't fixed, though the location/s has evaded me.

This location got nerfed as of last patch. Now, the scarabs seem to come with a scorpion that interrupts shots, making it very hard to kill things.

Im at work right now and so i haven't tried this yet but this is what im thinking:

W/E
note: I have a scroll that gives me +24 energy (total=44)

1. Endure Pain
2. I Will Survive
3. Meteor Shower
4. Flame Burst or Inferno
5. Chop up the remaining pieces of charred spider

think it'll work?

I shake my head in disbelief towards anyone who thinks we shouldn't post farming locations on public forums because they'll get nerfed. Come on, how can you seriously think that? Oh yes, I'm sure the only way AN will know where we're farming is by referring to public forums. Suppose just for a second that that is true (which I can almost assure you it's not), then all you have to do is visit one of the many sites they have linked on the Guild Wars homepage. I searched a half dozen of them and found discussions of the best farming locations on every one, took about 5 minutes.

Do you really believe that by not discussing it in these boards, ArenaNet is saying "Oh no! Now there's no POSSIBLE way we can know what locations are being farmed now!! What EVER will we do?!?!?!".

How in the world would you know that? Do you work for ArenaNet and are giving us some insider information? If you don't, then you don't know the answer to that question. And I can already hear the "WELL YOU DONT WORK THERE EITHER NEWB!!" replies .

Pretty amazing how stupid some of you are. Actually, it's not.

ArenaNet is not trolling public forums to see where people are farming...they're monitoring server activity and places where people are spending alot of 'down time'....posting or not posting the farming spots are going to be 'fixed'

True...However, by posting them on public forums, the amount of people farming one spot will most likely increase.
